The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) is new EU Legislation that comes into affect on May 25th 2018. We are in the process of completing new registration forms to comply with the new legislation. The new forms will be available on the club web site at the end of this week. ALL Members will have to complete the New Membership forms for 2018.

Ballymac Academy 2018
Ballymac Academy for 2018 recommences on Sunday the 11th of March @ the new time of 11.15am. The academy is open to all girls and boys living in Ballymac parish. Coaching News:
Calling All Club Coaches
Michael Quirke GAA Games Development Officer will give the first of 6 visits to Ballymac Coiste na nÓg coaches on Tuesday, February 27th at 7.30pm beneath the stand in Ballymac GAA.
The first visit is a presentation. We are hoping that as many coaches as possible will attend.
Coaching Work Shop for U14, U16 and Minor Coaches:
Coaching Workshop aimed at U14, U 16 and Minor Club and School Coaches will take place on Wednesday 21st February at 8pm in Moyderwell Primary School Hall, Boherbee, Tralee.
This will be a practical session on Games Based Coaching and Conditioned Games delivery by Kerry U 16 Coaches James Costello and Pa McCarthy. The session will demonstrate a series of Conditioned Games that will focus on improving all aspects of player and team performance.
The entrance to the Hall is across the road from O Mahony’s Bakery in Boherbee Tralee.
Cost of the workshop is 5 euros per coach.
Referee Foundation Course
If anyone in the Club is interested in becoming a referee, the dates and times have been decided for the Referees Foundation Course.
As requested by a few clubs, we are going to hold these courses in 3 locations, namely Tralee, Killarney and Caherciveen.
We look forward to supporting our Minor Team starting next Saturday in Glenflesk at 4pm right through the final game with Ardfert at home on Friday 13th April
The dates are as follows:
- Tralee Feb 23rd and March 2nd Austin Stack Park 8pm
- Caherciveen March 9th and 16th Venue to be decided 8pm
- Killarney March 23rd and 30th Venue to be decided 8pm
- The course is for 2 nights, with some work to be done online. All attendees will be brought back in for another night once they have officiated a few games. The course will last for 1 and a half hours each night and you must attend both nights.
- We are still recruiting referees and there is still time for anyone to toget their nominations in to Mark Griffin, the Referees Co-ordinator via Club secretary: ballymacelligott.kerry@gaa.ie
