Tralee/St Brendan’s District Senior Championship Final sponsored by Lee Strand.

5th December 2022 By Ballymac GAA

Tralee/St Brendan’s District Senior Championship Final sponsored by Lee Strand.
On Sunday 4th December we faced Austin Stacks in the final of the inaugural Tralee-St Brendan’s District Board Final in Austin Stack Park.
At half time score-line read Ballymac 0-5 Stacks 2-6.
With 13 mins remaining, Stacks were ahead by 9 points but our boys kept going and with 2 mins left it was 2-11 a piece, our lads went on to score 2 more points.
Whistle went and we were the first winners of the Tralee-St Brendan’s District Senior Championship Final.
Our captain Dan O’Shea accepted the Roddy O’Donnell Cup sponsored by Lee Strand and Man of the Match on the day was our own Aidan Breen sponsored by the Aqua Dome Tralee.
As a club we are very proud of this team and management and appreciate all the hard work they have put in, many thanks to our loyal supporters who have travelled near and far to support the team.
A special word of thanks to Ruairi O’Rahilly who after last few years in charge is stepping down. We have had great success under the leadership of Ruairi and we wish him all the best.
